A miner works 350 metres below the surface in the dark cavernous recesses of a mine shaft. Over 6000 miners die annualy in coal mine accidents in the last few years. Many coal mines have flammable gases that can cause explosions. Shanxi, China.

i touched famous letters
I just touched EE Cummings, Octavio Paz, and Ezra Pound’s real letters! I touched the paper they touched, the ink they wrote in, their signatures! I spent three hours reading their correspondence with Paul Blackburn! I even read over Blackburn’s tax returns!
